Highfield Defend Their AIL Cup Title

Defending champions Highfield will face their Munster rivals UL Bohemian on Sunday, 23rd March at Woodleigh Park in the semi-final of the Women’s All-Ireland Cup.
The Cork side beat St. Mary’s by 24-5 to claim their place in the semi final as they bid to retain their title.
It was a case of last minute scores for Galwegians and UL Bohemians to each claim their respective semi final spot. A late penalty for 'Wegians saw them edge Blackrock 20-17, while previous cup winners UL Bohs scored a late try to break Railway Union hearts on an 8-5 scoreline.
Old Belvedere are the fourth qualifer following their 41-0 victory over Portlaoise.
In the Shield competition, both Queen's University and Sligo had big wins over their opponents last weekend and will now face one another in the Shield semi-final.
This game is winners-take-all as it will act as a double header – an All-Ireland League Division 2 North league and Shield semi-final fixture.
Munster sides Tralee and Fermoy have already met once this year in the group stages of the All-Ireland Cup. They now meet for the second time in the Shield semi-final.
