Highlights | Munster Women & U18 Girls V Ulster

Munster Women, sponsored by Keane’s jewellers, opened their Interprovincial campaign with a six-try 38-12 win over Ulster at Irish Independent Park on Saturday.

Co-captain Chloe Pearse bagged a brace while Laura O’Mahony, Clodagh O’Halloran, Kate Sheehan and Niamh Kavanagh all touched down to record a well-deserved victory.

Munster U18 Girls narrowly lost out 12-17 in their Interprovincial opener at home to Ulster on Saturday with tries from Eilish Cahill and Aobhinn O’Loughlin.

Both squads will face Connacht on Saturday, 24 August, in the second round of the Women’s Interprovincial Series before returning to Irish Independent Park to face Leinster on Saturday 31 August in the third round of action.
