Highlights of Munster Schools Junior Cup Semi-Final

Last year’s beaten finalists Christian Brothers College earned themselves the right to try and extract revenge on Crescent College Comprehensive, with a comfortable 15-0 victory over local rivals Presentation Brothers College at Irish Independent Park.

The Cork side can now look forward to a final on Leeside, after Aaron Leahy’s brace following half-time tied up the game for the Sidney Hill side, hoping to earn their 18th Junior title this year and cut the gap on second placed Rockwell to just one.

Despite being drawn as the away side in the final, CBC will undoubtedly have a large following on Cork’s Southside, which may prove of huge benefit to a skilful Crescent outfit.
