Historic Schools Cup Game In Thomond Tonight

The SEAT Munster Schools Junior Cup semi-finals begin tonight with the first ever Schools cup game under lights as Castletroy face Crescent at Thomond Park (ko 7pm).

It will be a historic night at the Limerick venue as the two sides battle it our for a place in the final.

The second semi-final takes place on Wednesday, March 11 at 2pm with Irish Independent Park hosting the all-Cork clash between PBC and CBC.

The quarter-finals took place two weeks ago with CBC claiming the first semi-final place after beating Ardscoil Rís.

Crescent enjoyed a convincing win over Rockwell as part of the Thomond Park double-header on Wednesday that saw Castletroy secure a dramatic win over St. Munchin's.

A dominant second half performance by PBC gave the Cork side victory over Glenstal Abbey as they completed the semi-final line-up at the Mardyke in Cork.

The SEAT Schools Senior Cup final takes place on St. Patrick's Day in Thomond Park as Rockwell face Ardscoil Rís at 2pm.
