21st July 2015 By Munster Rugby
Munster Rugby in partnership with the Cork English College recently completed an English and Rugby Camp for foreign students aged from 13 to 16 years.
The two week programme in CIT gave participants the opportunity to experience the combination of language tuition in the mornings and rugby training in the afternoons.
As part of their rugby experience the students paid a trip to Thomond Park Stadium to take part in a tour of Munster's home grounds.

Coached by Munster Community Rugby Officers the students were also educated on nutrition and strength and conditioning at CIT as part of the programme.
To round off the camp, the students had the opportunity to observe the Munster Senior Squad training session and meet the players afterwards.
Speaking on behalf of Munster Rugby Damon Urlich, Community Rugby Manager said “the last fortnight has been brilliant and both players and coaches have really enjoyed the different aspects of the programme.
Our partnership with the Cork English College is developing well and we look forward to running an equally successful programme in 2016.”
