In Pics: Munster Players Greet Cork English College Students

Munster Rugby in partnership with the Cork English College recently completed an English and Rugby Camp for foreign students aged from 13 to 17 years.

The two week programme gave participants the opportunity to experience the combination of language tuition in the mornings and rugby training in the afternoons.

As part of their rugby experience the students paid a trip to Thomond Park to take part in a tour of Munster’s home grounds.

Coached by Munster Rugby Community Rugby Officers Ray Gadsden and John O’Neill, the students also took part in strength and conditioning education modules at CIT as part of their development.

To complete the week, the students took on the South Munster Development Squad at the college grounds in a training match and as an added bonus met some of their Munster heroes who took the time to sign autographs following their pre season training session.
