Induction Day Held For New Season’s CCROs
17th September 2021 By The Editor
This week, Munster Rugby held an induction day at Musgrave Park for this season’s Club & Community Rugby Officers (CCROs).
The CCROs will be working with clubs and schools across the province over the next eight months, introducing rugby into the school through PE classes and helping to link the schools with their local clubs.
The role of a CCRO is very important as they are one of the first links between the schools and the clubs.
The induction day allowed the CCROs to plan their schedules for the coming season and also to go through the various drills and games that they will be implementing with the playing groups throughout the year.
These drills and games are designed with the aim that the players experience maximum enjoyment and a love of the sport.
See below for a video from last year of Participation Coordinator Ray Gadsden who explains the role of a CCRO.
