Intercounty U17s Blitz Held In Musgrave Park

The first Munster Rugby Intercounty U17 Blitz of the season took place at Musgrave Park on Saturday which saw club players from throughout the province compete.

County sides were formed which saw the teams play 15-a-side, 20-minute games with unlimited rolling substitutions which ensured that participation was high and that all players received plenty of game-time.

The players who were involved are not on any Munster age-grade squads or regional development squads which provides a unique and special opportunity for these players to represent their county.

Seven teams competed in total; Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford and two from Cork.
