All three Munster Interprovincial sides will be in action this weekend with the U18 Clubs and U18 schools at Cork IT on Saturday, 9th September.

The Munster U18 Schools, sponsored by Trend Micro, will seek avenge on their return fixture against defending champions Leinster, who claimed a 34-22 win in their opening match of the series at Donnybrook.

Captained by Cian Hurley from CBC, the Munster side will hope to continue their momentum following an improved performance against Ulster in round two, where they claimed a 10-9 win at Thomond Park Stadium.

The Under 18 Clubs side, sponsored by Bank of Ireland, will open their campaign against Connacht as they set out to defend their title.

Nenagh Ormand’s Evan Murphy will captain the side in what promises to be a tough challenge from the men of the West.

Munster U18 Clubs will take on Ulster at Thomond Park Stadium in their second Interprovincial fixture before travelling to Donnybrook, to face Leinster in the final match of the series.

Following a disappointing 13-12 defeat to Leinster in their opening Interprovincial match last weekend, the Munster U19s, sponsored by Bank of Ireland, will travel to Galway on Sunday to meet Connacht.

Connacht, who claimed a 27-21 win over Ulster in their opening round, will no doubt be looking to continue on their winning performance, with Munster captained by Craig Casey from Ardscoil Rís, facing a hard task on their opposition’s home grounds.
