The final round of Domestic Interpros took place over the weekend with the Munster U19, Munster U18 Girls and Munster Women’s squads all wrapping up their respective campaigns.
Munster U19 recorded a 45-11 victory over Connacht at Thomond Park on Saturday afternoon to finish on a high note, despite losing out on the Championship to Leinster by just one point.
Ronan Quinn scored a break away try for Munster in the first-half, before Ciaran Ryan, Mark Stafford, Captain Tommy Downes, Ben Daly, Timmy Duggan, Daniel Okeke all touched down to combine with four conversions from Jack Crowley and one from Ben Daly after the break.

Munster U18 Girls lost out 31-5 to Ulster in their final Interpro encounter at MU Barnhall RFC on Saturday afternoon with Maggie Boylan recording Munster’s only try.
The squad showed signs of great potential throughout their Interpro campaign with many girls still eligible to play for the age-grade next season.

Munster Women, sponsored by Keane’s jewellers, came agonisingly close to retaining their Interprovincial Championship title following a dramatic 14-14 draw with Leinster at Energia Park on Saturday evening.
A total of three penalties from the boot of Niamh Briggs kept Munster in a tight contest with the Blues, before the conversion of a last-minute try from Rachel Allen-Connolly kept the scores level (14-14) on the final whistle.
Both sides finished the campaign with two wins and a draw but, with the roles reversed from last year, Leinster secured the silverware thanks to their scoring difference (+64 compared to Munster’s +37).
