Ireland Club Squad Named

The Ireland Club Squad to face Scotland Clubs in the Ulster Bank Club International at Anglesea Road on Friday, March 9th has been named, featuring eleven Munster Club Players.

Coaches, Conor Twomey and David Murphy have named a strong squad in their defence of the Dal Riada trophy including half backs Dolphin’s Barry Keeshan and Cork Con’s Gerry Hurley.

A number of players from Division 1B have also made the squad with Brendan Deady (Bruff), John Cleary (Galwegians), Adam Kennedy (Buccaneers), Rodger McBurney (Ballymena), Brian Slater (UCC) and James Thompson (Ballynahinch) all included.

The Ireland side will also play the England Counties on March 16th in Preston Grasshoppers RFC.
