Ireland Club Squad Named For France & Scotland

The Ulster Bank Club International Squad which will take on its French and Scottish counterparts in February and March has been named which includes seven representatives of Munster clubs.

The squad contains players from 16 different clubs across Divisions 1a and 1b of the Ulster Bank Leagues, with a number of players selected in the squad that were involved in last year's fixtures against their Scottish and French counterparts.

Cork Constitution’s Max Abbott and Ger Sweeney have been named along with John Fitzgerald of Dolphin.

Neil Cronin and James McInerney will represent Garryowen while Young Munster players Sean Duggan and Diarmaid McCarthy have also been named.

Their first fixture is against the French Federale selection at the Stade Jules, Ladoumegue on Friday 12^th February. The Ireland Club side will then take on the Scottish Clubs on Friday 18^th March at Temple Hill in Cork.
