Ireland U18 Clubs & Schools Side Named For Second Run Out Against England Counties

After Wednesday’s 15-13 defeat Ireland Under-18 Clubs & Schools head coach Mark Butler has made nine changes for the second fixture against England U-18 Counties at HMS Temeraire in Portsmouth on Saturday (kick-off 12.00noon).
A total of nine players from across the Munster province have been selected for Wednesday’s match with Tommy Downes (CBC), Jack Hunt (Rockwell College), Fionn Flanagan (Bruff RFC), Paddy Kelly (St Munchin’s College), Evan Murphy (Nenagh Ormond / Nenagh CBS) all starting as Murphy once again captains the side.
Scott Buckley (CBC), Aaron Hennessey (Ennis RFC/The Arya Project Scarriff), Eoin O’Connor (Waterpark RFC/Gaeilcholaister Phortlairge), Charlie O’Doherty (Newcastle West RFC/Ard Scoil na Mhuire) are named on the bench.
Shane Murphy and Thomas Armstrong come in at half-back with Jack Hunt lining out on the left wing and Tommy Downes fills the inside centre berth.
In the pack Fionn Flanagan, Mark Nicholson and Paddy McAlpine fill the front row berths. Paddy Kelly comes into the row with Darragh Murray swapping to the loose head side and Chris Moore togs out on the blindside flank.
