Ireland U19 Sevens Include Six Munster Players

A 12 player Ireland squad has been named for the FIRA U19 invitational Sevens tournament in Lisbon, on the 10th and 11th May which includes six Munster players.

Munster Academy players Greg O’Shea and Jack Cullen have been named along with Sean McNulty, Ben Kilkenny, Tomás Quinlan and Steven Mc Mahon.

Ireland are in Pool A alongside top seeds France, Germany and Denmark with their opening fixture coming against the Germans before taking on the Danish and finally the French.

The team will be coached by former Irish international Kieran Campbell.
