Ireland Underage Teams Named for English Double Header
13th April 2012 By Munster Rugby
The Ireland U18 Club team and Ireland U19 team will play England in a double header tomorrow, with ten Munster Representatives included in the squads.
The Ireland U18 Club side were narrowly defeated by France last week, despite two first half tries from Seamus Keating (Dungarvan) and John Madigan (Charleville). The five Munster players who featured against France have each retained their place in the starting XV for their clash with England.
Adrian Enright (Abbeyfeale) will play on the wing along with fellow Munster man Seamus Keating (Dungarvan) and Killian O’Keeffe (Crosshaven) will start at scrum half. John Madigan (Charleville) has been named in the second row while Jack O’Donoghue (Waterpark) will once again captain the side at number eight.
Ireland’s U19 team will face their England counterparts in what will be their second game of the season. They were defeated by France 24-15 in their opening game last week. Ultan Dillane (Tralee RFC) and Ryan Murphy (Dolphin RFC) have been included in the starting XV. While Munster Schools Senior Cup winner Sean McCarthy (Rockwell College), Harry McNulty (Dublin City University) and Niall Horan (Crescent College) have been named amongst the replacements.
