Ireland Women Prepare to Defend Grand Slam Title

The Ireland Women will take on Italy this Sunday, 19th January at Ashbourne RFC (kick-off 1pm) in an uncapped warm-up game ahead of the upcoming 6 Nations Championship.

Ireland’s first 6 Nations match begins on Friday 31st January when they take on Scotland at home in an opening bid to defend their Grand Slam title.

This precedes Ireland’s second home fixture at Ashbourne RFC when they entertain Wales before they set off for Twickenham to take on England.

Next up is the first ever Women's RBS 6 Nations fixture to be staged at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, 8th March as part of an RBS 6 Nations 'Super Saturday' double header when the men and women's teams take on their Italian counterparts.

Ireland’s campaign concludes on Friday, 14th March when they face France at Stade du Hameau in the city of Pau.
