IRFU Appointment For Munster Woman

Former Munster Rugby Women’s Development Officer and Munster representative player Gemma Crowley has recently been appointed the position of Irish Women’s Team Manager by the IRFU.
Gemma began her rugby career with Ballincollig RFC in 2004 and captained the side in season 2009/10. As well as having two Women’s All-Ireland medals with Ballincollig Gemma has also won three interprovincial titles with the Munster Women.
Adding to Gemma’s extensive experience as a player, she has also coached the Munster U18 Girls for two seasons and managed the Munster Under 19 Girls in season 2010/11.
The former Women’s Development Officer worked with Munster Rugby from 2005 to 2010 and is currently employed by Cork Sports Partnership.
Irish Women’s Head Coach Philip Doyle is delighted to have Gemma on board and will look forward to a successful six nations tournament this season.
