IRFU Laws & Refereeing Workshops

IRFU Referee Development Manager Fitzgibbon recently hosted two Laws Workshops in Limerick and Cork.

The workshops identified the main rugby laws and their interpretations for the season ahead.

Fitzgibbon presented to coaches on law application guidelines surrounding ruck, scrum and other areas of focus this season.

He also spoke on various other law amendments and the IRFU guidelines on foul play in domestic rugby.

There are two further workshops scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 7^th September in the Malton Hotel, Killarney and Monday 12^th September in Clonmel RFC.
