IRFU Technical Model Coaching Workshop

IRFU Technical Development Manager Steve Aboud, High Performance Manager Allen Clarke and Coach Education Training Manager Colin Moran, recently hosted a workshop for all Munster Rugby Domestic Game and Academy staff at Dolphin RFC, Cork.

The workshop highlighted the new IRFU technical coaching model designed to develop a quality game through improving the rugby knowledge and coaching ability of volunteer coaches and professional staff throughout the five stages of the Long Term Player Development (LTPD) programme within Irish Rugby.

The implementation of this programme over time will ensure high quality and more successful rugby and will be integrated into all future player development and coaching courses within all four provinces.
