No changes at top of all three divisions of the Munster Junior league after the fifth series of games.

Cashel have extended their lead at the top of the First Division after their 46-6 away win over Thurles. Two penalties and a conversion by Darragh O’Brien of tries by Brendan O’Connor and Martin Feehan had the visitors 18-6 ahead at half time. Aidan O’Dwyer kicked two penalties for Thurles. It was all Cashel after the break as they ran in four more tries from Eamon Devitt, O’Brien, Pat O’Connor and Kevin Quinlan and all four were converted by O’Brien.
Crosshaven’s failure to score four tries in their home tie at home to Skibbereen sees them slip two points behind the leaders and the pressure will be on them for next Saturday’s top of the table clash away to Cashel.
Andrew Lane, Eamon Ring and Merle O’Connell scored tries for Crosshaven in their 22-16 victory. Ian Good kicked a conversion and substitute Cian McGovern added a conversion and penalty. Matthew Darby replied with a try for Skibbereen and David Shannon kicked a conversion and three penalties.
Defending champions Richmond picked up all five points from their trip to Cobh where they won 29-12 and have now drawn level with Crosshaven. Tries by Ger McCarthy and Stephen Gallagher and two conversions and a penalty by Michael Kelleher had the Limerick side 17-0 ahead at the break. Kelleher and Finbarr Hogan added further tries and Kelleher converted one of the tries. Cobh came more into the game after the break and had tries by Joe Hoyne and Darren Frahill with Mark Chandler kicking a conversion.
The big shock of the day was in Tralee where a very fit Clanwilliam side proved too strong for the home side as they ran out 33-10 winners. The visitors led 26-3 at half time and had tries from Bernard O’Callaghan, Denis O’Brien and Ian O’Rahilly. Richard Childs converted all three tries and added four penalties. Brian O’Sullivan replied with a try for the home side and Brian Mullins kicked a conversion and penalty.
Waterpark got back to winning ways with a 17-19 away win over St. Senan’s. Jared Dunbar, Donal Kavanagh and Kevin Phelan scored tries for Waterpark and Dunbar added two conversions. Ian Fitzgerald and Chris Loan replied with tries for the home side and Declan Collins kicked a conversion.
Kilfeacle followed up last week’s victory over Ballincollig with a 17-13 away win over Clonmel but the home side will regret the many missed penalty opportunities. In a keenly contested opening half Kilfeacle led 14-10 at the break. David Cross opened the scoring with a try for the home side after five minutes but that lead was short lived as Shane Luby scored a try and conversion for the visitors. John Long restored Clonmel’s advantage with a second try but on the stroke of half time Gerry O’Brien put Kilfeacle back in front with a try which Luby converted. Luby extended his side’s advantage with a penalty three minutes into the second half but Clonmel’s only answer was a penalty by Brian Lonergan on sixty five minutes.
Old Christians eased their relegation worries with a 43-0 home victory over bottom side Ballincollig. It was 31 -0 to the Rathcooney side at half time and they had tries from Stuart Lee, Stephen O’Brien, Stephen O’Donovan, Cillian Spain, Rob Stapleton and Peter Twohig. Aidan Tobin kicked five conversions and a penalty.

In the Second Division the top of the table clash between Galbally and Kanturk ended in a 23-19 victory for the Limerick side and now they have a three point lead at the top of the table. Tries by Eddie Fraher and James Taylor and two conversions and two penalties by Liam Casey had Galbally 20-6 ahead at half time. Darragh Meade kicked two penalties for the visitors. Casey kicked a third penalty for Galbally but Kanturk rallied in the final quarter and a try from Michael O’Leary and a conversion and two penalties by Meade earned the visitors a losing bonus point.
Castleisland who shared second place with Kanturk lost ground as St. Mary’s defeated them 33-22. Matthew Hickey scored two tries for the winners and Ryan Hartigan and Niall Couilan got one each. Sean Lyons kicked three conversions and two penalties. Kieran Downey replied with a try for the Kerry side and Mark Connolly kicked a conversion and five penalties.
Mallow took full advantage to move into second place after their 14-9 home victory over Youghal.
A try in the opening half by Brian O’Sullivan gave Killarney a 5-0 home victory over Newport.
Newcastle West got back into the promotion race with a deserved 33-26 away win over Kinsale. Paudie Fogarty, Niall Kennedy, Declan Moloney, Donal O’Sullivan and Darren Hayes were try scorers for the West Limerick side. Hayes kicked a conversion and a penalty and Tommy Kelleher also added a penalty.
A penalty in the first half and a drop goal in the second by Eoghan O’Donovan gave Bandon a 6-0 home win over Muskerry who had good performances from Aidan Murray, Jaydee Meyer, Willie Healy and Tim Keady.
A last minute penalty by James Leahy, his third of the game, secured a losing bonus point for Charleville who lost at home to Ennis 15-9. Bryan Murphy kicked five penalties for the visitors.

The top of the table clash in the Third Division saw leaders Scariff and Fermoy share the spoils after an 11-11 draw. The Clare side looked like they were heading for their fifth victory with a try from Tony Cronin and two penalties by James Kelly as they led 11-3 with minutes remaining. Darren Roche scored a try for the home side and Shane O’Riordan landed his second penalty of the game in the final minute to level the scores.
There was a big surprise at Bantry as the home side recorded their first ever victory in the league against promotion chasing Corca Dhuibhne 15-8. Michael Lithgow and Brian Keohane scored tries for the winners and Keohane kicked a conversion and Andre Polivka a penalty. Chris Ferriter scored a try for the visitors and Ciaran Collins added two penalties.
Presentation moved a point behind leaders Scariff after their 40-7 away win over Carrick-on-Suir. Mark Phair scored three tries for the winners and kicked five conversions. Christy Cox, Ollie Delaney and James Calvert also crossed for tries.
Tries by Adam Roche and Andrew Scannell helped Abbeyfeale to a 17-9 home win over Killorglin. Scannell converted both tries and also added a penalty.
Waterford City were 27-10 home winners over Douglas. Jason Power, Len Power, Colm Lyons and Tom Bowes were try scorers fro the Suirsiders. Aaron Foskin kicked a penalty and Darren Walsh two conversions.
