It is going to be an all Tipperary Final in the Munster Junior Cup as both Clanwilliam and Clonmel booked their places in the decider.
The big shock in the Munster Junior Cup semi finals was Clanwilliam’s 16-10 home victory over First Division side Clonakilty. Brian Kissane opened the scoring with a penalty for the Tipperary side after twelve minutes but Dave Lombard drew Clonakilty level two minutes later. Ten minutes before half time David McCormack scored a try for Clanwilliam and Kissane added the extras for a 10-3 half time lead. Kissane extended Clanwilliam’s advantage with two early penalties.
