St. Senan’s regained their First Division status in the Munster Junior League with a bonus point victory over struggling Killorglin.

St Senan’s defeated Killorglin 44-5 to preserve their unbeaten record. Senan’s who have two games remaining only need to collect two more points to be crowned champions of the Second Division. They ran in eight tries in their victory over Killorglin. Warren Kelly scored two and Fergal Lawlor, Jake Egan, Declan Rowe, Emile Mafite, Gearoid Condron and Brian Collins got one each with Rowe kicking two conversions. Darragh Woods replied with a try for Killorglin.

Kinsale remain in second place three points ahead of Bandon after their 19-9 away win over Thurles. William Crowley, Damien Cusack and David Kingston scored tries for Kinsale and Sean Kingston added two conversions. Eoghan O’Dwyer replied with three penalties for Thurles.

Bandon defeated Waterford City 13-10 with tries from Cathal Crowley and Michael Murphy with Jack Murphy kicking a penalty. Waterford replied with a try from Sean O’Mahony and a conversion and penalty by John Flynn.

Clanwilliam kept their promotion prospects alive with a 29-5 home win over Killarney. A last minute try from Paudie Ryan secured the bonus point for the Tipperary side. David McCormack scored two tries and Brian Kissane contributed a try, penalty and three conversions. Damien Carroll was Killarney’s try scorer.

Bottom side Newport are still looking for their first win of the season as they lost away to Castleisland 18-13. Shane O’Connell scored two tries for the Kerry side and Eugene Cronin got one with Connie Reynolds kicking a penalty.

Presentation defeated Ennis 22-20 in an exciting game at the Clare venue. Ken Grainey scored two tries for the winners and Greg Airey added a try, penalty and two conversions. Lyndon Jones, Noel Downes and Cian Clifford were try scorers for Ennis and David Murphy added a conversion and a penalty.

A penalty from Ian Smith was not enough for Crosshaven who lost 21-3 away to Youghal. Alan Moloney scored a try for the winners who were also awarded a penalty try. Aaron Daly kicked a conversion and Keith McCarthy added three penalties.

In Division One leaders Kanturk had to come from behind to defeat Skibbereen 13-8. A try from Richie Byrne gave the visitors a 5-0 interval lead. Kanturk hit back with a penalty try and a conversion and two penalties by Mark Healy. Ger Hurley added a penalty for Skibbereen.

St. Mary’s closed the gap to four points on the leaders after a last minute try by Greg Barry helped the Limerick side to a 20-13 bonus point victory over Old Christians. Rory O’Donnell, Brian Downey, John Sheerin were Mary’s other try scorers. Eddie O’Connell scored a try for Old Christians, Stuart Lee kicked a conversion and a penalty and Brendan Culloty added a drop goal.

Newcastle West remain in third place after their 14-11 away win over Cobh Pirates. The sides were tied 6-6 at half time with Greg Higgins kicking two penalties for Cobh and Sean Herlihy replied with two for Newcastle West. Eoin Geary added a try for the Pirates after the break and Niall Kelleher replied with a try for the west Limerick side and Herlihy kicked a third penalty. This result secures Newcastle West a place in the All Ireland Junior Cup next season.

Clonmel defeated Waterpark 16-10 to move closer to securing fourth spot in the table. A try from Robbie Carroll and two penalties by Conor Cooney gave Clonmel an 11-7 half time lead. Paddy Kiersey scored Waterpark’s try and Eoghan Duffy converted. Carroll scored a second try for Clonmel and Duffy added a second penalty to secure a losing bonus point for Waterpark but it may not be enough to keep them in the top flight.

Bottom side Mallow kept their faint hopes of retaining their First Division status alive with a 28-18 away win over Tralee. Andy Cashman contributed a try, three penalties and two conversions to Mallow’s tally. Michael Sweeney and Ronan McCarthy were their other try scorers. TJ O’Sullivan and Eoin O’Carroll scored tries for Tralee; Kieran Crowley kicked two penalties and Garret Walsh a conversion.

Muskerry eased their relegation worries with a 10-7 away win over Clonakilty. The visitors led 10-0 at half time with a try from Tim Keady and Darragh Masterson kicked a conversion and a penalty. Clonakilty replied with a try from Courtney Canning which Ciaran Calnan converted.

Kilfeacle defeated Galbally 15-7 with tries from Gavin Heuston, Cormac O’Donoghue and James Mullane. Jack Donovan was galbally's try scorer.

A try from Willie Stokes and three penalties by Charlie Boland gave Carrick-on-Suir a 14-6 win over Carrigaline in the only game played in the Third Division. Peter Kelleher replied with two penalties for Carrigaline.
