Kilfeacle & District RFC Host Large Primary School Blitz

Kilfeacle & District RFC, with the support of CCRO Patricia Donovan and Munster Rugby, held a large blitz earlier this month which saw students from a number of primary schools in the area attend on the day.

5th and 6th class students from 14 different schools from West Tipperary and East Limerick attended on a fresh winter’s morning. A total number of 260 kids took part on the day.

There were 40 matches played across three rugby pitches on the Hill on the day. The aim of the day was for all kids to have a fun day out with two touch rugby taking place.

With the URC trophy in attendance there was great excitement from all the kids to get a photo and a chance to see the trophy.

The URC trophy was also brought to six National Schools in the area; Golden National School, Rossmore National School, St Michael’s Junior Boys School, Thomastown National School, Bansha National School and the Monastery Primary School.
