Killarney Win IRFU Competition

Killarney RFC have won an IRFU competition that will raise at least 500 Euro for the club at Saturday’s Guinness Series rugby international between Ireland and South Africa.

The club will assist in the running of a food kiosk in the Aviva Stadium and will keep 10% of all takings, with a minimum take of €;500.

Killarney RFC are also allowed to have a bucket collection around the Kiosk for the club and they can sell tickets for any club fundraiser.

The prize includes admission to the match for eight people with two assisting on the kiosk and the other six carrying out the bucket collections.

Any Killarney RFC club members who would like to get involved on the day can contact Liam McGuire here.

The Club Kiosk Initiative is also running for the other Guinness Series Rugby Internationals against Georgia and Australia and you can enter your club into the competition here.

Killarney will be holding another major fundraising event at Tralee Greyhound Stadium on Saturday, November 22 at 7pm.

'A Night At The Dogs' promises to be a night of excitement and fun for all the family. Buster tickets are on sale from all club members or contact Paul Murphy on 087 267 6377 to order tickets or to be a sponsor. Click here for full details.

Another €;500,000 has to be raised to complete this facility which will include: clubhouse, two senior & youth pitches, a juvenile pitch, all-weather training paddock, and a 'Trim-Trail', which is a fitness and training track around the perimeter of the grounds with all-weather exercise stations.

This facility will be available to the public community.
