Club Focus | Killorglin RFC To Host Mental Health Workshop

Killorglin RFC are set to host a ‘One Good Coach’ workshop in celebration of World Mental Health Day on Monday 8 October to increase awareness and understanding of mental health within sport.
The workshop, delivered by the mental health service Jigsaw Kerry, is aimed at coaches who develop young people and will run in conjunction with Kerry’s inaugural Health & Wellbeing Week (Saturday 6 October – Sunday 14 October).
Participants in the workshop will develop their understanding of mental health, the importance of their role as a ‘One Good Coach,’ the awareness of promoting and supporting young people in sport, and learn about their local Jigsaw service.
The workshop takes place at Killorglin Family Resource Centre from 7.30pm and will last for approximately one hour.
Killorglin RFC would like to invite clubs to attend, please note that registration is essential as places are limited.
