Knocknaheeny Tag Blitz

29th June 2010 By Munster Rugby

Knocknaheeny Tag Blitz

The Terence MacSwiney Community College recently hosted a Tag Blitz for local primary schools, St Marys on the Hill and Sunday’s Well Boys National School.

Over 100 primary school children from 5th and 6th class took part in two league sections with some fantastic skills on display.

The one day event was a great way to end the year and a good indication of how positive the new season will be in the Knocknaheeny/Hollyhill area.

Munster Rugby would like to thank Knocknaheeny RFC coaches Shane O'Sullivan and Darren Murphy who refereed on the day, along with Barry Hanrahan, Sunday’s Well RFC who assisted Community Rugby Officer Frank O’Mahony with the coordination of the event.

Many thanks also to the principals and staff of both schools for all their contributions in making the blitz and the season a huge success.
