5th February 2015 By Munster Rugby
Munster Rugby recently introduced an adapted version of tag rugby to the pupils of Our Lady of Good Counsel Primary School in Ballincollig.
Community Rugby Officer Euan Gee co-ordinated the visit as part of the IRFU's Xcessible Inclusive Youth Sports Initiative which aims to increase the participation opportunities for children with disabilities in rugby.
The session was the first of six visits which aim to build bridges between the school and local rugby club Ballincollig RFC.
The programme is also being run in St. Bernadette's Special School, Cork.
This programme is available to schools throughout Munster, for more details contact euangee@munsterrugby.ie.
