Lep Rugby At St Ailbes Secondary School

Munster Rugby recently ran a Leprechaun Rugby Coaching Course for Transition Year Students of St Ailbes Secondary School, Tipperary Town.

Students spent the one day course learning about Leprechaun Rugby and its relevance in teaching the young players the game.

All participating students took part in practical and theory modules which focused on the primary core skills and the principles of rugby.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of physical literacy for the young player and also how the players learn through the fun element of the sport.
