Leprechaun Rugby Coaching Course
7th June 2012 By Munster Rugby
Munster Rugby recently held a Leprechaun Rugby Coaching Course for Abbey Youth Service and VIP (Volunteered inspired participation) students of Limerick City Sports Partnership.
The course was attended by 19 Students from both Programmes of which Munster Rugby has supported this year.
The students from both groups have spent the last few weeks developing an understanding of the game with the primary focus on developing the fundamental skills and principles of rugby.
Students will now play an active role within their communities over the next few months by gaining valuable work experience delivering rugby sessions within schools, clubs and summer camps.
Munster Rugby would like to take this opportunity to thank Project Leaders Louise O’Connor of Limerick Youth Service and Tracy Maheedy of the Limerick City Sports Partnership for their assistance in coordinating the course.
