Limerick Charity Cup Gets Season Under Way

There are two games to be decided this weekend in the First Round of the Limerick Charity Cup.
It all begins on Friday night in Nenagh when the home club entertain Garryowen. The visitors will start as favourites to advance to a quarter final meeting with Shannon a week later.
U.L. Bohemian begin their defence of the trophy with a trip to Jim Slattery Park where they will face a Clare County side made up of Ennis, Scariff and St. Senan’s. The odds must be on the holders to advance where Bruff await the winners.

Saturday 24th August
Limerick Charity Cup: Clare County v U.L. Bohemian, Jim Slattery Park, 2.30;
Charity Cup entrance Fee of €;5 has not changed in the last 10 years and we would encourage patrons to give generously as all proceeds go to Charity.
