Limerick City Girls Rugby Festival

Coonagh, home of Shannon RFC was the venue for the first ever Limerick City National School girls rugby festival coordinated by Limerick City Sports Partnership in conjunction with Munster Rugby.

Over 200 girls at U10 and U12 age grade attended the festival which was played in fantastic summer conditions with fun being the emphasis on the day.

The festival hosted teams from; St Johns Girls NS, Presentation Girls NS, St Mary’s NS, Corpus Christ NS and St Munchin’s Girls NS.

Munster Rugby would like to thank the children for participating on the day and their teachers for supporting the development of girls rugby in Munster.
