Limerick IT Leprechaun Rugby Course

Third level students attending the BA Business Studies (Sports Management) programme in Limerick IT recently completed a Leprechaun Rugby (non contact version) as part of their course.

The event was coordinated by Munster Rugby coaching staff and was attended by forty students from the college.

This is the second time a ‘Lep’ Rugby course has been run as part of the third level educational programme and it is hoped that students will promote rugby within their future sports related careers.

Leprechaun Rugby is a useful method of introducing rugby in a fun, free flowing manner and has been embraced by clubs and colleges across the province.
