Limerick Schools Sevens Blitz

Munster Rugby recently held the Limerick Schools Sevens competition for players at U14 level in Shannon RFC.

Schools from across the county and city participated as a qualifying competition for the Munster Rugby Schools Sevens tournament which will be held in mid March.

Sevens is providing non traditional rugby schools the opportunity to compete and play fast open rugby while giving young players a basic knowledge of rugby skills.

The top fours sides to come through the event and progress onwards to the provincial competition are as follows; St John The Baptist (Hospital), SMI Newcastlewest, Crescent College and St Clements.
