Limerick Schools Sevens Blitz Takes Place at Crescent College Comprehensive

The first Limerick Schools Sevens (U14) recently took place at Crescent College Comprehensive.
Eleven schools attended from across the city and county to represent their schools, which ensured that in excess of 150 players took to the fields of Dooradoyle to play 25 games of sevens rugby in one afternoon.
Teams represented schools from SMI (Newcastlewest), St Nessans, Castletroy College, CBS (Sexton St), St Munchins, Ard Scoil Ris, St Clements, Glenstal, Villiers, Colasite Ciaran (Croom) and Crescent College Comprehensive.
The event was coordinated by Munster Community Rugby Officer Ed Daly, who facilitated the event along with the support of Munster Rugby professional staff George Guilfoyle, Fiach O’Loughlin, John Lacey, Noel O’Meara.
