LIT Students Upskill

First year students undertaking The Sports Coaching and Development Course in Limerick IT recently completed a Leprechaun Rugby (non-contact version) Coaching Course.

The event was coordinated by Munster Rugby coaching officers and was attended by twenty one students from the college.

This is the second time this year a ‘Lep’ Rugby course has been ran as part of the students educational programme and it is hoped that students will use the knowledge gained from the course to actively carry out ‘Lep’ Rugby sessions in local National Schools as part of their placement, in conjuction with Thomond RFC.
