Major Refurbishments At Thomond RFC

Limerick side Thomond RFC officially unveiled major renovations of their facilities at Liam Fitzgerald Park earlier this month.

The extensive refurbishments at the ground included the building of a new gym area, an office, physio room, shower room, referees room and disabled toilet facilities.

The changing rooms and existing bar area were also upgraded as part of the redevelopment.

Work commenced just six months ago and everything was completed last month.

The All-Ireland League Division 2A side have already applied for planning to extend the grounds to add an extra pitch with an application for floodlighting and a new entrance.
