Mallow Look Ahead To Tag Rugby Festival

Mallow RFC have announced the date for their annual Tag Rugby Festival which is scheduled to take place at Carhookeal, Mallow, on Saturday 11 August.

The club are set to host their fifth consecutive festival with the Mallow Barbarians, Mallow’s adapted tag rugby team in association with the Cope Foundation (in support of children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism).

The festival has welcomed over 800 participants over the years and is a permanent fixture on Mallow’s sporting calendar with 400 people expected this August.

The festival brings a large number of visitors to the club and is a clear example of inclusiveness within rugby.

This year’s event, sponsored by Tria Oil, welcomes mixed teams of 10 with a minimum of three female players (€200 per team).
