Marcus Horan Upskills New Generation
31st October 2013 By Munster Rugby
Former Munster and Ireland prop Marcus Horan paid a visit to the University of Limerick recently to demonstrate set-up and body shape scrum techniques to underage players.
The session was in conjunction with a skills and conditioning day held by Munster Rugby for a total of 91 combined school and club youth players.
Participants worked on their skill development, game understanding and position specific roles as part of their ongoing selection process for the Muster U18 Schools and Munster U18 Club squads for next season’s interprovincial series.
The players will undergo continued assessments over the next few months and will also be viewed in their respective school and youth competitions throughout the season.
