Mary Imaculate College Students Take Part in Mini Rugby Coaching Course

Munster Rugby Coach Development Officers John Lacey, Colm McMahon and Noel O’Meara recently hosted a two day Mini Rugby Coaching Course for 33 Bachelor of Education Primary School Teacher Students at the Mary Imaculate College, Limerick.

The Mini Rugby Coaching course is an integral part of sport education within teacher training and encourages schools to promote rugby amongst the next generation of primary school teachers.

Course tutors were delighted with the enthusiasm of all participants and are confident future primary school pupils will benefit from an introduction to rugby at an early age.

The Domestic Rugby Department of Munster Rugby would like to thank the staff at the Mary Imaculate College who were instrumental in coordinating the course and look forward to working with them in the future.
