Midleton RFC Set For Rugby Tens

If looking for something to do this Saturday August 7th head along to the East Cork rugby club, Midleton RFC for an action packed day of rugby in aid of local charities.
A full day of rugby kicks off at 10am as part of the Budweiser Rugby 10's Tournament, with twelve teams representing various Junior and Senior clubs from around the province competing in The Pat Goold Memorial Cup.
At 2pm there is a change of code with two of Munster's rugby league teams, the Cork Bulls LRFC and the Treaty City Titans Limerick, looking for glory in the 2010 Munster Rugby League Final.
The focus returns to rugby union after the league final, with the main event the Legends Rugby 10's game kicking off at 4pm.
The game of Legends will feature Scott Hastings, Anthony Foley, Peter Clohessy, Jason Holland, Terry Kingston, Noel Healy, John O'Neill, Anthony Horgan, John Dudley, Derek Eaves, Ger Earls, Mike Prendergast, Ken O'Connell, David Corkery and many more.
Off the field there will be food stalls, a kids corner and DJ, with all the activities wrapping up with live music from the band Aftershock at 7pm.
Entry is €;10 for the day and kids are free of charge. All proceeds from the event will go to worthy charities, The Alanna Appeal and East Cork Friends and Families of the Mentally Handicapped.
