Mini and Foundation Coaching Courses in South Munster

Munster’s Domestic Rugby Department ran both a Mini and Foundation Coaching Course on Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th September in Coláiste Stiofan Naofa, Tramore Road, Cork.
The two day courses ran simultaneously with over 70 Coaches in attendance participating in both tutorial and practical based Modules.
Ultan O’Callaghan, Domestic Rugby Manager tutored on the Foundation Coaching Course with the assistance of Coach Development Officers Keith Murphy, John Lacey and Community Rugby Officer Ross Callaghan.
Munster Rugby’s Community Rugby Officers Finny O Regan, John O Neill, Ray Gadsden and Amanda Greensmith coordinated and tutored on the Mini course.
The Domestic Rugby Department will be running a Fitness and Conditioning Workshop on Monday 27th September in LIT and Tuesday 28th September in CIT. The Workshops will be presented by Des Ryan (Fitness Education Manager, IRFU) and will focus on Assessing and Developing Fundamental Movement Skills for players aged 5 years to 19 years.
