Mini Coaching Workshop In Skibbereen

The Munster Rugby Development Department recently held a workshop for the coaches of mini rugby at Skibbereen RFC.

The session was co-ordinated by Munster Community Rugby Officer Ray Gadsden in Skibbereen with 11 coaches in attendance.

The main themes of the workshop were planning and then executing a training session.

The coaches went through a training plan that started with fun games to improve physical literacy. The session then progressed to games based on the theme of the session.

The coaches would then stop the game and identify problems and possible solutions before returning to the game.

Munster Rugby would like to thank everyone at Skibbereen RFC, especially mini co-ordinator Paul Crosse and all of the coaches who attended the workshops.
