Mini Workshop At Killorglin RFC

Mini Workshop At Killorglin RFC

Munster Rugby recently ran a Mini Workshop at Killorglin RFC for the club’s Stage 1 coaches.

Killorglin’s Under 12 players participated in the practical module of the workshop with 4 mini rugby coaches in attendance.

The Workshop focused on general movements, the tackle and the breakdown for players at Stage 1.

Sample fun games were shown to coaches illustrating the skills relating to these two groups that may break down in the game. An introduction to physical literacy was also delivered highlighting the importance of including this in a session.

Special thanks to Mini Coordinator Josh Whelan for helping organise the workshop and Killorglin RFC for the use of their facilities.

If your club or school is interested in participating in a Munster Rugby coaching workshop, please email info@munsterrugby.ie
