Munster Club 7’s Blitz

Carrick-on-Suir RFC hosted the first Munster Girls Club 7’s blitz of the season in the sun on Saturday.
Girls from clubs across Munster competed at both Under 15 and Under 18 level with Bantry Bay and Cashel participating for the first time following a successful year of development last season.
There was plenty of action throughout the day with lots of free-flowing rugby and teams getting stronger as the games progressed.
The Under 18 tournament featured teams from Abbeyfeale, Carrick-on-Suir, Cashel, Bantry Bay, Shannon and Thurles.
Teams from Mallow, Youghal, Abbeyfeale, Carrick-on-Suir Bantry Bay and Shannon competed in the Under-15s section.
The next outing is this Saturday in Shannon RFC.
