Munster Club Christmas Events
20th December 2024 By The Editor
With Christmas just around the corner here is what clubs are getting up to in the coming days to spread festive cheer.
Cork Constitution Ring V Fling Game
Cork Constitution will host their annual St. Stephens Day game once again but this year with a twist.
Rather than a Presidents XV v Exiles XV the club will now form two teams for the Ring v Fling match up as married players take on players that are single.
Former teammates and friends will get the chance to reunite, reminisce, and lace up their boots for a game!
A day full of fun and merriment is instore for the club and all are welcome.
With a cocktail bar and a tag rugby display at half time there truly is something for everyone.
Clonakilty RFC Festive Fun Run
Clonakilty RFC are hosting a festive 2.5K or 5K run (or walk) on the 29th of December to raise funds for St. Vincent de Paul and the club.
The registration at the clubhouse opens at 10:30am and the run gets underway at 11am.
Mulled wine and hot chocolate will also be available after the run for all those taking part.
For more information check out the flyer below.
Clanwilliam FC Santa Run
Run off the turkey, blow off the cobwebs and catch up with old friends at Clanwilliam’s festive fun run.
Taking place on St. Stephens Day (26th of December) the run will raise funds for the club.
There will also be a raffle and games in the clubhouse for the kids.

Crosshaven RFC Long Kick
Crosshaven RFC will host their annual long kick competition this December 26th.
Starting in Fountainstown those taking part will then kick a ball, as many times as they need, along the road back towards the clubhouse.
Whoever reaches the clubhouse in the least amount of kicks is the winner.
The second instalment of the Eddie Buckley Cup between Crosshaven RFC and Highfield RFC in memory of the late Eddie Buckley, who captained both clubs, will also take place in the coming weeks. Details TBC.
Munster Rugby would like to wish all clubs and their members a Merry Christmas.
