Munster Club Under 18s Win First Competitive Match

The Munster Club Under 18 side won their first competitive match at Garryowen F.C. on Sunday, 29th August.

This was a good start to their forthcoming Interprovincial campaign winning over a fancied Exiles team 32 to 15.

Following their first try after 10 minutes the Munster youths dominated the game and played with great intensity while demonstrating a high level of skills against strong opposition.

Munster’s organisation throughout the pitch was evident which is a tribute to the commitment of the players and guidance from Head Coach Ian Sherwin.

The Under 18 side will commence their interprovincial campaign against Leinster on Saturday, September 18th in Waterpark R.F.C., K.O. 1.00pm.

Tries: Mullane (1), Kind (2), Gleeson (1), Kingston (1)
