The Munster Clubs Girls Age-Grade Cup Finals Day kicks off this Sunday in Virgin Media Park with six teams competing across the day in the U14, U16 and U18.5 competition.

The U14s get the day started as Clonakilty faces off with Fethard & District.

Clonakilty won their place in the final by beating Shannon 0-30 before meeting a second Clonakilty team in the semi-final who went down 37-7.

Fethard also had a smooth road to the finals as they overcame Garryowen-Richmond 21-7 and Ennis 30-0.

The U14 cup will kick off at 11:30am.

In the Munster Girls U16 cup Clonakilty aim to go back-to-back after clinching the title last year.

The West Cork side will meet Richmond-Scarriff in this year’s final.

Richmond saw their way into the final by knocking out Dunmanway-Bantry Bay in the semi-finals by the narrowest of margins with a score line of 20-24.

Clonakilty on the other had beat Ennis 7-16 in Ennis to put themselves into yet another final.

The U16 cup final will get underway at 1:20pm.

The last of the Munster Clubs Girls Age-Grade Cup finals will kick off at 3:20pm as Clonakilty enter their third final of the day against fellow Cork side Ballincollig in the U18.5 competition.

The West Cork outfit, who were runners up in the last edition, saw their way into the final by overcoming Shannon 14-17 and Ennis 12-38.

Ballincollig overcame tough opposition in Dolphin and Ballina-Killaloe to book their spot in the final.
