Munster Comeback Secures Leinster Draw In Junior Interpro

The Munster Juniors, supported by the Patrons Future Programme, began their Junior Interprovincial campaign with a share of the spoils at Kilkenny in a very entertaining contest.
Shane Airey opened the scoring with a penalty after twelve minutes but Leinster hit the front with a converted try four minutes later.
Munster fought back and were back in front at the end of the first quarter with David Jennings touching down and Airey converted.
Leinster levelled with a penalty two minutes before the interval, but Leinster took complete control in the third quarter scoring tries on 41 and 56 minutes for a 20-10 lead.
Airey kept Munster in the contest with a penalty on 60 minutes.
Deep in added time Munster levelled with a try from Ben Kennedy and Airy converted.
Munster face Ulster in Ennis next Saturday, kick off 2.30pm. Ulster opened their campaign with a 47-12 win over Connacht at City of Derry’s ground.
