Munster Interpro Update

The Munster U20’s will kick off the Interprovincial Series next week-end when they travel to Queens University on Friday, 4th September, to take on their Ulster counterparts.

All squads – Munster U20, Munster 19, Munster U18 Clubs and Munster U18 Schools – are currently undergoing a series of warm up matches as well continuous gym and on-pitch training as interprovincial preparations continue.

The Munster U18 Clubs and Munster U20 squads recently entertained the Irish Exiles at the Mardyke, Cork in warm up fixtures with both sides coming away with impressive wins.

Last Monday the Munster U19 squad hosted a friendly against Connacht at Coonagh claiming an impressive victory.

The Munster U18 Clubs side were narrowly defeated last week-end by the Welsh U18 and British Colleges U19 champions Coleg y Cymoedd in Cardiff as they look ahead to their opening Interprovincial fixture against Leinster in Donnybrook.

Tomorrow, Friday 28th August, the Munster U20’s host Connacht in Rosbrien (Kick-off 2pm) in their pre Interprovincial warm up friendly.

The Munster U18 Schools will train in Limerick this evening before travelling to Gloucester tomorrow to take on the Gloucester Academy as they prepare to retain their Interprovincial title.
