Munster Juniors Begin Interpro Campaign.

The Munster Junior Interprovincial team start their campaign on Saturday when they travel to Leinster, and with an unprecedented third grand slam in a row in the offing, they certainly will be aiming for a strong start.

In total, eleven clubs are represented, with nine new caps in the 23-strong team. This includes Ballincollig’s Brian O’Keeffe at full back, David Joyce, John Long, and Morgan Lyons from Clonmel, props Barry Moloney (Cashel) and John O’Sullivan (Kinsale), with second row John Gilmartin from Bandon, Ger Looby from Kilfeacle at openside flanker and Peter Morrissey from Crosshaven completing the nine new caps.

After Saturday’s clash with Leinster, Munster’s next game is a home fixture against Ulster in Ballincollig RFC on May 3rd, and finally they face Connacht on May 10th.
